Why we teach in a room
Courskills is in-person, invite-only, and deliberately small. That's not nostalgia — it's the part of learning that a video can't do.
The idea
Watching isn't doing.
You can watch someone build something start to finish and still be stuck the moment you try it yourself. The gap is the part nobody films: the wrong turn, the error you can't read, the ten minutes of being lost before it clicks.
A room with a working instructor and five other people closes that gap fast. You get unstuck in minutes, not evenings. You see how someone experienced actually works — what they check first, what they ignore. And you build the thing yourself, with help on hand, which is the only way the skill sticks.
Invite-only, on purpose
No public sign-up.
There's no open registration form and no waitlist to game. You tell the office you're interested, and they invite you when there's a batch that fits — one they can seat well and teach properly.
It keeps batches small and the mix in the room considered. Once you're invited, enrolment is instant: you set a password, join a batch from the catalog, and you're in from day one.
Who teaches
People who still do the work.
Every batch is led by someone working in the field they teach — not a full-time trainer who left it years ago.
The room
Where it happens.
Sessions run at our campus. A typical session is part working session, part instruction: short input from the front, then most of the time spent building with the instructor moving around the room.
